The Battle of Kharkov commenced just a month after the German 6th Army surrendered in Stalingrad, so it came at a pivotal time on the Eastern Front. Tiger I tanks were involved in the heavy fighting, and each tank had its own distinctive appearance due to slight variations in stowage bins, OVM positions, markings and paint schemes.
THE KIT:
Kit allows a mighty Tiger I Early Production from either the elite Das Reich Division to be assembled, or alternatively a vehicle from the equally famous Grossdeutschland Division.
The kit makes use of tried-and-true parts from previous Tiger I releases, but there are brand new components too where appropriate.
Furthermore, enclosed in the box is a generous selection of photo-etched parts for finer details such as engine mesh grills and brackets.
