The T-54 and T-55 tanks are a series of Soviet main battle tanks introduced in the years following the Second World War. T-54s and T-55s have been involved in many of the world's armed conflicts since the later part of the 20th century.
The dozer blade was first saw used in WWII American and British tank. After WWII the Russian developed their famous dozer blade "BTU-55" and widely fitted with T-54/55 tanks. The device on the front of the BTU-55 Dozer blade is a depth regulator to prevent the blade from digging in excessively and stopping the tank.
