The BA-3 armored car, produced in 1934, had the most powerful artillery armament among armored cars of its time. The BA-3 was fitted with a turret from the T-26 tank, armed with a 45 mm gun. BA-3 armored cars took part in battles against Japanese forces near the Khalkhin Gol River, in the Winter War with Finland, and on the battlefields of the Great Patriotic War during its most difficult initial period.
