The Pz.Kpfw. IV was used by German forces throughout WWII, and its Ausf. G variant was particularly notable as the first long-barrelled version of this workhorse tank. Manufactured between March 1942 and June 1943, one of the identifying features of early production Ausf. G vehicles was the rounded muzzle brake. For beleaguered German units trying to take on powerful Soviet T-34s on the Eastern Front, the Ausf. G must have been a welcome arrival. The 2-stroke 350cc engine motorcycle was light and nimble, suiting it well to use in the rugged terrain and often punishing weather conditions on the Eastern Front; it was used for both reconnaissance and dispatch missions, and in fact saw service wherever German troops were in action.
THE KIT:
- Length: 187mm, width: 54mm (Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf.G)

- In-depth research of the actual vehicle ensures that the powerful Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf.G form is captured in style.
- The motorcycle is realistically depicted and features an ergonomic parts breakdown.
- Three tanker figures, a rider for the motorcycle, and an officer figure are included.
- The set comes with two marking options for Eastern Front vehicles.
