Manufactured in 1942-43, this vehicle mounted the 15cm s.IG 33 Infantry gun to a specially lengthened Panzer II chassis with an extra roadwheel and resulting in an open topped fighting compartment. The result didn't perform as expected and only twelve were made, all of which appear to have served in North Africa.
