Established in 1987 with headquarters in Hong Kong, China - DRAGON was created, as a sister company to model retailer Universal Models Limited, to manufacture plastic model kits according to its own designs. Dragon is distinguishable from other makers in that often has most number of parts, i.e. catering toward top end experienced modelers, rather than beginners.
